About Us

Welcome to the Imagination Station and the Imagination Station, Too...

THE places in Shrewsbury for quality, professional child care and early education for children.  Both locations provide a nurturing, child driven environment in which children can learn and grow!

The Imagination Station has operated at 6 Park Avenue in Shrewsbury since 2010, and the 87 East Forrest Avenue location, also in Shrewsbury, opened in 2014.   Owned and operated by two experienced elementary and special education teachers, the Imagination Station is much more than just a daycare!  It is the perfect place for your child to develop the social, emotional and educational skills to become a lifelong learner. Each classroom is designed so that the children are engaged in meaningful,  age-appropriate, hands-on activities, with the ultimate goal being Kindergarten readiness (which is WAY more than just knowing your ABC's).   Here, children learn to share, to solve problems, make friends, and they learn to learn!  Children at the Imagination Station will regularly participate in activities that explore language, math, reading, writing, music, art, dance and physical movement, and the best part is that they will be having too much fun to realize that they are learning!

Our professional teachers are proud of their knowledge and experience.  Our staff is committed to continuing education in the field of early childhood education through in-service trainings, workshops and the pursuit of child care credentials and degrees. Every one of our veteran teachers is certified in First Aid and CPR, as well as trained in emergency preparedness and fire safety.

Enrollment at both locations is limited, but we always to try to accommodate new families, so call for your tour today!

Upcoming Events:
Parents' Night Out/
Babysitting Night

When the COVID Pandemic is finally behind us, we hope to resume our monthy Parents' Night Out events.

One Saturday per month, from 5-10 pm, we entertain the children with movies, games, crafts, dinner and snacks sthat the grown-ups can enjoy a night on the town, a quiet dinner and a movie, or just catch up on laundry (though we STRONGLY discourage wasting Parents' Night on THAT!).
